da stake casino: An injury to Kieran Trippier has left Tottenham facing a few conundrums ahead of their season opener at Newcastle United on Sunday.
da doce: Following Kyle Walker’s departure to Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t have another right-back to call upon, suggesting the Argentine gaffer may have to switch formations rather than putting a square peg in a round hole.
Accordingly, we put a curious question to Tottenham fans earlier this week – asking if the Lilywhites should set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, seemingly Pochettino’s preferred system, or the 3-4-3 formation that proved so effective in short bursts last season.
And according to our poll, the majority of Spurs supporters are firmly in favour of 3-4-3, with 75% voting for the formation, which would likely see former Magpie Moussa Sissoko line up at wing-back.
That would certainly give the home side something a little different to think about at St. James’ Park, but whether it can compensate for Trippier’s absence remains to be seen.
