da betcris: Some Everton fans are feeling nostalgic after former Toffee Tim Cahill shared a photo of him and Mikel Arteta having a barbecue recently.
The Twitter post shares two photos, years apart, of the former midfielders standing side by side next to a barbecue, and it has caused many Evertonians to think back to a time when they shared the pitch at Goodison Park.
Together they made a combined 485 appearances for the club, scoring 103 goals and assisting 62, and were part of the Everton team which made the FA Cup final in 2009, with Cahill also featuring in the side which finished in a Premier League high fourth-place in 2004/05.
Arteta now works as a coach for Manchester City whilst Cahill has been seen on Match of the Day this season, and the pair appear to be close friends despite taking different career paths.
The post has prompted an emotional reaction from some fans, who miss the days when the duo played for their team, with some describing them as club legends.
