Wenger also likened the attacker to Thierry Henry, who is widely regarded as an Arsenal legend after scoring 175 Premier League goals in eight years at the club.
Mbappe has already stolen one of Henry’s records by becoming Monaco’s youngest debutant and scorer last season.

In the current campaign, the teenage forward has netted seven goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.
There is no guarantee that Arsenal will poach Mbappe any time soon, but Wenger’s public declaration that he would be interested in signing him may have already given the youngster something to think about.
Even if the player himself is not considering it just yet, plenty of Arsenal supporters are calling for their manager to get this one over the line.
