da marjack bet: The BBC recently reported that Arsenal have withdrawn their contract offer to Aaron Ramsey despite an agreement having apparently been close. This means that the Welshman is set to leave the club as a free agent when his current deal expires at the end of this season.
Seemingly, the only opportunity that the Gunners will now have to recoup some funds in exchange for the 27-year-old is to offload him in January. If the North London outfit do decide to cash in on Ramsey in the winter transfer window, his contract situation makes it likely that he’ll sell for less than his Transfermarkt valuation of £40.5 million.

That being said, the midfielder has had plenty of critics during his lengthy spell at the Emirates Stadium and many fans support the club’s decision to take new terms off the table. This state of affairs had led to much debate as to how much the Wales international is actually worth.
Despite the shortfall they’ll likely see compared to his true value, Arsenal must sell Ramsey in January to avoid a free transfer catastrophe and his goal and performance at the weekend proved why they are well within their rights to demand at least £30m.
What do you think, Arsenal fans – from the options below, which would you consider a fair price for Aaron Ramsey?
